After 1007 days away, I’m heading back to the UK.
We explored, we connected, we got lost and we found something real in the chaos of life. You need a bit of mess.
I’ll always be grateful to the people who showed me around the hidden gems, shared their culture, and taught me new ways of seeing the world.
Community means healing and I saw that clearly in the togetherness of the Buriram, Thailand and Kaohsiung, Taiwan communities.
You need the lows to feel the highest joys - that’s part of the adventure. I’ve learned that happiness doesn’t come from power or status. It comes from being real, eccentric, honest and unapologetically yourself.
