From Nong Khiaw to Snowdon
The highest viewpoint in Nong Khiaw, and the idea that became the Half Everest Challenge.
Hiked up to the highest viewpoint in Nong Khiaw. 80 to 90% of the elevation of Snowdon.
The perfect place to look back at the adventure and journey we’d been on. Turns out this was manifested into the Half Everest Challenge. Credit to my friend Chris for coming up with this idea and getting a team of people on a mountain.
I had no idea standing on this viewpoint that I’d be doing this four months later.
The adventure always continues.
27th June. Four ascents of Snowdon. Up and down, four times. 3,508m. The Half Everest Challenge. An anticipated 20 hours of hiking. All in one day.
Around 20 of us taking on the mountain together to raise money for a mental health campaign.
