When the spark came back
A night with Flower Alex in Holland, a trophy that was not ours, and two months of momentum.
Reunited with Flower Alex in Holland 2 months ago. 🇳🇱 Reflecting on the good times, and honestly, I’d been feeling drained the past few months. The spark felt gone. Hard to top what we had.
Then one night, a bar with an atmosphere you could feel from the street. Turned out we’d walked into the domestic volleyball league champions celebrating their national title. Congratulations!
We ended up lifting the trophy (even tho we didn’t win it lol). 🏆 It reminded us we’ve had nights like this before too.
Then, over the next few weeks following that night in the bar, celebrating with a team that wasn’t even ours, the momentum completely shifted:
